ARTS AND CULTURE CELEBRATION
Honoring Trenton’s Legacy Through Art
The Arts and Culture Celebration is a cornerstone of the Week of Liberation, a Salvation and Social Justice/Trenton Restorative Street Team event, designed not only to showcase the richness of Trenton’s artistic expression but also to strengthen bonds across neighborhoods and generations. This celebration is more than an event. Through performances, interactive gatherings, and the creation of a community mural, we are lifting heritage, resilience, and peace. Local artists and performers will set the stage with creativity, while the mural will leave behind something lasting: not just color on a wall, but a symbol of collective vision, reconciliation, and hope. At the heart of this effort is a mural honoring Trenton Heroes, individuals who have shaped our city with their talent, leadership, and determination. Their stories remind us of who we are, and more importantly, who we can become.

OUR TRENTON HEROES

WHY THIS MATTERS
When we gather for the Arts and Culture Celebration, we are not just enjoying music, murals, and performances. We are declaring something bold: Trenton is a city of resilience, creativity, and heroes. This mural will remind us daily that our past is filled with people who dared to dream, fight, and build. It will challenge us to continue their legacy by healing divisions, lifting voices, and walking together toward peace.
