Founded in 2018 by Rev. Dr. Charles Boyer and First Lady Rosalee Boyer, Salvation and Social Justice (SandSJ) is a leading organization in New Jersey for restorative justice and racial justice issues.

 

As a Black-led, faith-rooted organization, it is our mission to abolish structural racism and liberate public policy theologically by modeling and building the hope and resiliency of Black faith, where historically marginalized people move from lament to liberation by advocating, envisioning, and creating their own community-led solutions.​​

 

Headquartered in Trenton, we work actively throughout the state on campaigns to abolish the Drug War, create community-led first responders, promote civic engagement, advocate on behalf of Black mothers, provide a “second chance” for our returning citizens, and push for police accountability.
